Burnout and addiction prevention in the workplace: Protect your people and stabilise your business
Build your team's mental resilience before problems begin to affect performance, team culture, and employee retention.
When to act? Recognise the signals
Early intervention protects both employees and the organisation. Here are the warning signs to watch for:
Performance Drops
Reduced productivity, more frequent errors, difficulty concentrating and meeting deadlines.
Team Tension
Conflicts within the team, withdrawal from relationships, escalating misunderstandings and loss of trust.
Risky Coping Strategies
Reaching for substances, overworking, avoiding problems rather than addressing them.
Burnout
Chronic fatigue, cynicism, loss of meaning and motivation — a signal for immediate action.
Prevention, not firefighting
This is not a theoretical lecture. It's a series of practical workshops that normalise conversations about mental health and teach people how to respond to early warning signs.
Stress & Addiction Mechanisms
How the brain works under pressure and why we seek relief in harmful habits.
Healthy Coping Strategies
Concrete techniques for building mental resilience — instead of just "gritting your teeth".
Assertiveness & Setting Boundaries
The key to healthy work habits and constructive team relationships.
Managerial Support
How to respond thoughtfully, hold difficult conversations, and use non-discriminatory language.
Workshops are grounded in coaching and established therapeutic approaches: CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy).

Experience & Expertise
I am a psychologist, coach and HR manager with many years of experience working with people. Since 2022 I have been living in Copenhagen, where I completed a certified training programme in facilitating support groups for people struggling with addiction — SMART Recovery.
Working in an international environment and running both online and in-person sessions has reinforced my belief that the modern workplace demands a new approach to support. The pace of life, easy access to psychoactive substances, and the inability to truly rest are factors that foster burnout and addiction in every industry.
A Scandinavian approach to workplace culture
Living and working in Denmark, I draw on local models of building healthy organisations. My programme combines Polish HR experience with the Danish approach to work-life balance, openness and mutual respect. I believe prevention is not just a "safety net" — it is an integral part of modern company culture that attracts the best talent.
My mission is education and providing practical tools that prevent the development of harmful coping strategies. I run workshops in plain, practical language — free from unnecessary psychological jargon.
This is not therapy — it is real support for your team's day-to-day functioning.
Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to questions I most often hear from HR departments and company leadership.
No. The programme takes the form of educational and preventive workshops focused on practical tools, not treatment. Participants learn about the mechanisms of stress and addiction and develop healthy coping strategies. I do not conduct therapeutic processes or clinical assessments.
Yes, safety and confidentiality are the foundations of my work. Survey results are reported only in aggregate, and individual consultations are fully anonymous — the employer receives no information about individual participants.
I work flexibly. I recommend in-person sessions as they build stronger team relationships. However, online sessions allow employees from different locations to participate. We can also combine both formats within a single programme.
The programme is scalable — from small teams (from 10 people) to large departments within big organisations. The scope and format are tailored to the group size, industry, and specific company needs.
